We have been meaning to get round to visiting Leonardslee Gardens & Lakes, just South of Horsham in West Sussex for quite a while.
Yesterday we finally managed to make that visit, our first trip there, and with great weather to accompany Us.
We had seen quite a few photos and videos on social media and they had heightened our anticipation ahead of our trip.
Parking was easy and just a short walk to the entry gate, with parking charged for in addition to the entry tickets. A very well detailed map and guide leaflet was handed to Us and off we set for what turned out to be a 4hr walk around a really stunning setting.
Walking along paths that were bordered by colourful Camelias and Rhododendrons, we made our way to the newly refurbished Rock Garden. This was a maze of paths leading between rocks and colourful bushes, a veritable riot of colour.

From there, we set off on a long and pleasant walk that took us past the Wallaby enclosure and then down past the Camelia Grove until we reached the first of a string of lakes.

We wandered down the southern edge of the lake, admiring rhododendrons abundant in colourful blooms. The reflections were great as the sun was on much of the scene most of the way around.

There were a large number of statues/sculptures around the grounds, with the one below catching my eye as I noticed the opportunity to show the woman diving into the lake.
