Lavender & Phacelia

A first trip to Lavender Fields at Selborne, Hampshire turned out to be a lovely day out - combined with a stop at East Harting on the way home to photograph a field of phacelia.
I have previously visited a lavender field in Surrey (a few years ago) and struggled with composition, so I was really wanting to get it right this time.
We found the farm easily, despite unexpected road closures on the way, and parked also very easily. A short walk took us into the entry building and we paid our entry fee.
My very first photo produced a very pleasing composition, emphasising the rows of lavender in the first field.

After taking a few more from different angles and tripod heights, we walked down to the bottom left of the above photo to wander through to their other (larger) field. There we were greeted by some rows of much stronger coloured lavender and a variety of types in the various rows. There was also a large patch of wildflowers, dominated by yellow colours that contrasted well with the lavender.

Following this, I experimented with compositions and the tripod heights to see what I liked the look of.
