overdue update .....

Hi,

sorry for lack of recent updates, been rather busy.

I am going to tell you here what I have been up to recently and follow with the updates and photos in next few days:

Windsor Great Park in early April was followed by a daytrip to Oxford plus Iffley Lock (on the Thames).

There then followed a four week period where I could not drive or go far, as a result of a small stroke.

In mid May, we went to Clandon Park - wasn't impressed - and the following week we visited Ladham Gardens, Goudhurst, Kent. This was a special trip as it took us to where my Dad worked as head gardener for quite a while, including the first 11 years of my life.

My annual trip to the Masters Historic Racing Festival at Brands Hatch was the next week, with a trip to a part of the River Wey navigation a week later.

Sheffield Park & Gardens beckoned the following weekend - first time back there in over a year and was reminded of why we like it, so tranquil despite the number of visitors and a beautiful place.

WIsley RHS Gardens the next weekend, with a 4 day holiday in Devon/Exmoor from Wednesday of the week after.

This was followed very quickly by a wedding, as my brother got married - my job being to capture the official photographs.

This is a task I have carried out on many occasions in the past, but it had been quite a while since the last one and there was the added pressure of it being family. However, everything went really well - it was a fantastic day and the pictures turned out great.
